TS3522 Design

The Canon TS3522 is a large printer, measuring 16.5 x 14.3 x 13 inches and weighing 5 pounds. It’s not the smallest machine in its class, but it’s still compact enough to take up only a little space on your desk or table.

The TS3522 also does not support Apple AirPrint or other PIXMA models, such as the MP830 or the Wireless All-in-One Printer (WIAOP).

When using this printer with an iPhone 7 Plus, which we tested without issue, we found ourselves spending more time downloading apps than printing because it’s not compatible with iOS 11 Beta 2 or higher (which is what we used). You won’t have any trouble printing photos right from your phone!

Yields and Cartridges

Moreover, the TS3522 also has an impressive 1.5 mL (black) ink tank capacity, which is larger than other models in its class.

This means you can get up to 700 pages per cartridge, compared to the 600-page average for most printers at this price point.

You can also print more photos or documents at once because you don’t need as many cartridges to achieve your desired quality and output.

The TS3522 has a large ink tank that holds a bottle about 1 inch high — slightly shorter than most printers but still large enough to print photos or documents on larger paper without having to refill it regularly.

The product page does not specify the number of pages per tank. Still, it can be assumed that this figure is consistent across all variants as it is based on previous generations of Canon models (such as the PIXMA MX922).
